In the holidays my Mum and I went to Rainbow's End. We went in Kids Kingdom. My favourite ride was the Giant swing. The kid next to me started to cry because we were so high in the air. I also went on a ride that swung us up and down. We went up really high. Another ride that we went on was the roller coaster. The roller coaster was on a track and it went really fast! We both held on tight to the sides of the roller coaster so that we did not fall off.
After we did all the rides I played on the cars and motorcycles on a fake solid road. I crashed into a few other cars and motorcycles but it was fun. Next I went to the big puffy obstacle course playground. It was great because I got to punch some punching bags and go down a big slide. Finally, after four hours I put my shoes on and went home. I had fun with my Mum at Rainbow's End.

The Haunted House
During the weekend my Mum bought tickets to a haunted house. At the haunted house a woman showed us around. Then she said that we had to do this alone. Some people had to come with us. When we opened the door it was all black, but we went inside.
Inside the room there was a mirror. We saw our reflection. Then we heard a voice. The voice said, "This is the story of the man who had a box fill with darkness inside it. However, the darkness escaped the box and killed the man and started to terrorize the city. Then the man's son stood up with the box and climbed a building next to the darkness and jumped off holding the box up and sealed the darkness back into the box again". Then the voice shut down and then a strong wind surrounded us, then the voice said, " You will not hear my secret to defeat me. Well you heard a part of it in the story but you need an old silver key to lock me in the box". Then the woman's voice said, "Who has a silver key?" My Mum said that she had one. The woman said to touch him with the key. Next the darkness went away. Finally we went back home. I enjoyed going to the Haunted House.

During The Holidays
During the holidays I went to the beach with my mum. At the beach I saw little waves going onto the shore. I tried to stop them, but I couldn't stop them, they just kept going onto the shore. I also used my shovel to scoop up the sand. I dug a big hole in the sand with my shovel. But when I tried to dig too much I found out that it was solid, and so I could only dig a little bit at a time. It was fun at the beach.
After that we went back home. At home I had a rest. Later we went to Martha's Backyard shop to buy some picnic food, some cheetos and some picnic cheeseballs. I like Martha's Backyard food. Next we went to the Onehunga Dressmark Shopping Mall. We bought Sushi and it tasted good. We bought a map of part of the world. We had to scratch the counties that we had been to and underneath it was colourful. Then we went back home. I had a fun and exciting day.

Friday Playtime
At playtime I played soccer with my friends including Cooper, Daniel, Salilo, Augustine, Paul, Harley and George. We are all from Rooms 1, 2 and 5L.
During the game I kicked the ball to Cooper and he kicked it into the goal. Then I got the ball and kicked a goal. It was exciting and fun. I want to play soccer again at lunch time.

Saint Patrick's Day
On Friday it was St Patrick's Day so it was our school's feast day. We had a very busy day of activities. First we went to church next door. At church we sang to and knelt down and prayed to the God in heaven When church had finished we went back to school and had morning tea.
After that we had our activities. First I went to Room 2 where I painted a rainbow with Sister Evalesi. Next I went outside and played 'Steal the Emeralds and the Gold' with Miss Chao. Then I went into the library and made an Irish book mark with Mrs Dines. When I had finished I went outside and played the crab walk and spider walk with Mrs Twomey. Finally I went to Room 1 and did some Art. I made and decorated planes for Irish Airways with Miss Craig. We made the fasted shaped planes in the world with Miss Craig.
Later we all gathered outside under the tree and Miss Bullot announced which team were the winners and then we all had an ice block. After that we had our lunch. I had a great day.

Watching Power Rangers
On the weekend I watched Power Ranger on TV. They had new episodes. On the last episode the Power Rangers got a new morpher. A morpher is a thing that they can put their costumes on. The Power Rangers and the aliens were at war. The aliens arrived on earth in space ships and they looked different. The alien prince was the brother of the new prince. The Power Rangers were stronger than the aliens. The Power Rangers won the battle.
